Directions: 1) in large pot, sautee 1 onion in 4 tbsp of butter. 2) add 6 c water, 3 chopped carrots, 3 chopped celery stalks, 4 medium cubed potatoes, and bean portion of soup package (pinch bag to remove top portion of beans). 3) boil then simmer covered for 1 hr until beans are soft, stirring regularly. 4) add remaining package contents, 2 ½ - 3 ½ c cream or milk, 120g can of crab meat with juice. 140g can clams with juice, 2 tbsp lemon juice. Simmer for 20-30 mins, or until seafood and rice are cooked, stirring regularly. Add extra water or milk as needed. Season with salt and pepper. Option: add lobster, scallops, white fish or prawns.
