Job Title: Cheese Tray Artist & Customer Experience Specialist
About the Role
As our Cheese Tray Artist, you’ll learn from our expert Wedding & Event Coordinator, Shelby, and work side by side to craft stunning gourmet cheese trays while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll be the friendly face behind the counter, guiding customers through selections, cutting and wrapping cheeses to order, and sharing your enthusiasm for all things cheese.
What You’ll Do
- Design and assemble beautiful, gourmet cheese trays for events, gifts, and special occasions
- Provide outstanding, knowledgeable customer service
- Cut, wrap, and prepare cheeses to customer specifications
- Offer pairing suggestions and product recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shop environment
- Support daily retail operations as part of a collaborative team
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional customer service skills and a warm, engaging personality
- A creative flair for food presentation and an eye for detail
- Passion for gourmet food (cheese knowledge is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person!)
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced retail setting
- Reliability and flexibility
Availability
- Part-time position
- Must be available to work most weekends from April through September
- Opportunity for increased hours and potential full-time schedule during the busy summer season and Christmas season
