OAKED CHARDONNAY

This golden-hued chardonnay was aged in neutral oak barrels, for 10 months. It’s rich and balanced with notes of green apple, stone fruit and pronounced citrus. Crisp, fresh and lively it has a long, satisfying finish.

The grapes for this barrel-aged white were sourced from Quai Family vineyards in neighbouring Elgin County. The 2018 vintage started very wet, but early summer brought extreme heat. Heavy precipitation and humidity were struggles throughout harvest.
